The Betty Wright Boarding Cattery - named after Simon, the vet’s, late mother - features a lovely, warm, open plan design with individual runs, couches, outside exercise areas, TV and a staff who really love the cats.

Under Barbara's (our Cattery Manager) watchful eye, the staff quickly familiarise themselves with the individual needs of each cat so that they are fully catered to. This has extended to having individual heated units for convalescing, frail or special cases such as diabetic cats.

At the Betty Wright Boarding Cattery we want to create a 'home away from home'. Hence we make sure that all units open into large exercise areas that also flow into a tranquil outdoor setting. All rooms and units are climate controlled for comfort. Safety is of paramount importance so we have installed modern smoke alarms that are monitored by the fire service and our building is fully burglar alarmed.

Important Note:

All Vaccinations must be current. Flea and worm treatments must also be up to date. Please enquire prior to arrival date if at all unsure.

An Alternate Approach:

You might want to have a large, luxurious room available just for your cat or cat family. We can organise that for you if you simply request the details.

Prices:

Communal: $15.00 per day or part thereof

Individual Units: $18.00

Two cats sharing in a double cage togetnher: $29 per day

Luxury Room: 1 cat: $35

2 cats: $45

3 cats: $55

Extra Charges

Administering of Medicine $4 per day

Statutory holidays $4 per day

10% discount available for long-term stays (over 30 days).

Hours: (for dropping off and picking up cats)

Mon - Fri: 9am - 4pm

Saturday: 9.30 - 2pm

Admissions and pick-ups on Sundays by prior arrangement with staff. Please don't hesitate to discuss alternative pick-up arrangements with staff as they are only too happy to assist.
