pet & vet offer a service which provides professional grooming for dogs and cats of all shapes & sizes. The pictures below show the before and after photos taken of animals that have been groomed with us.

Veterinary backup

As well as the excellent job done by our groomers, a major advantage of you bringing your pet to us for grooming is that the groomers, Anne and Kerry, have Veterinary backup for any skin problems they might discover as they are grooming. If they find skin lesions one of the Vets will call you to discuss treatment. We have many patients with chronic skin problems who come to us specifically for regular bathing with Veterinary prescribed shampoos such as Malaseb.

A special thought for the cats

Despite the fact that many cats need grooming, they do not take very kindly to the process so we do sedate them for this. The advantage of this is that it also allows us to also check and, if necessary, get a Vet to perform a dental on them. Naturally this is only done with your permission.
